Myanmar Rattan and Bamboo Entrepreneurs Association Stakeholders Workshop ( 1 ) for Forest Harvest Collective Mark Certification was held on March 10, 2024 from 9 am to 3 pm at Best Western Green Hill Hotel Yangon. The workshop was attended by stakeholders from Kachin State, Ayeyarwaddy Division, Rakhine State and Peer Group members from RECOFTC, PPA, WWF along with Central Executive Committee members of MRBEA. The workshop held discussions for the required standards and practices to be adopted by Rattan harvesters, the challenges in the Rattan industry and how the criteria for FHCM certifications can be met by Myanmar Rattan industry.
