The Annual General Meeting was held on June 1, 2024, from 9 am to 12 pm at No.29, Min Ye Kyaw Swar Road, Lanmadaw Township, Yangon. The Annual General Meeting was attended by the Chairman, Vice – Chairman, General Secretary from Affiliated Associations, Patrons, Advisory Members, Central Executive Committee, Executive Committee, and Members from MRBEA, i-NGO, NGO, and other organizations.
The ceremony started at 9:30 am and was documented with photographs.
After reading and approving the association’s activities and financial statements, prior processes of the association were discussed.
After that the Donation certificates were given to the donors who contributed for the association.
Finally, we have updated the current activities of the internationally recognized Forest Harvest Collective Mark by NTFP-EP Asia. The chairman stated that this certification recognizes sustainable harvesting practices for rattan, engagement with local communities, maintenance of transparency and traceability, and environmental protection.
And then the AGM ceremony was successfully concluded at 11:30 am.
