Company Profile

U Ba Nyein Lacquerware aims to nurture the sustainable development of traditional lacquerware and create job opportunities for artisans and workers in the lacquerware sector. With setting up the business in 1945, U Ba Nyein was one of the pioneers in lacquerware artisans in the Bagan area. Our products were well received by some of the State Guests in Bagan. Now the company has been inherited by Mr. Aung Kyaw Tun as the 4th generation in the family.
In 1970, U Ba Nyein started commercial production for regular customers. Today, U Ba Nyein is one of the large-scale lacquerware businesses in the industry.

We Innovate New Designs Based On Customer Needs

Based on traditional lacquerware, U Ba Nyein develops innovative new designs and products in home decoration and tableware for its clients. Our unique service includes developing customized decorative wall and ceiling items for home, hotel, and restaurant.

Our masterpiece of Art:

Some of the masterpieces of U Ba Nyein are the huge Offering Bowl (Swan Okk: 27 feet high, 13 feet wide) in the State Parliament House in Naypyitaw (new capital city in Myanmar) and the ceiling of the Parliament building.
