Eight days training of Machine operation was conducted at the Bamboo Training School in Taikkyi Township, Yangon Region. This training was organized by the Myanmar Rattan and Bamboo Entrepreneurs Association in collaboration with Asia Crafts Link. The training utilized Bamboo Stripping Machine donated by Japan to the Myanmar Rattan and Bamboo Entrepreneurs Association.
The course was designed for participants already skilled in basic bamboo handicraft production. Japanese artisan Mr. Chikara KOJIMA provided instruction on Machine Set Up, Optimization, and Experimental Art Techniques.
The training aimed to enhance the participants existing knowledge of bamboo crafting, with a focus on improving their skills in bamboo surface finishing techniques. Upon completion, participants were expected to be capable of passing on their newly acquired skills and knowledge to others.
